Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking a full-time Workers’ Compensation Specialist in support of our site management and corporate office in Phoenix, AZ. This Workers’ Compensation Specialist position supports the team in several important functions within the team, including customer and employee communication, performance management, injury claims, document management, and general administrative duties. Responsibilities of the Workers’ Compensation Specialist
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including employee information, schedules, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Serve as primary point of contact for workers compensation filing and injury claims
- Guide site leadership and employees through workers compensation process, explaining rights and responsibilities
- Collect and review injury incident reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with insurance providers, medical professionals and legal representatives to facilitate claims processing
- Monitor progression of each injury claim, following up with stakeholders as needed to expedite resolution
- Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of injury claims, including documentation of medical treatment, expenses and outcomes.
- Familiarity with workers compensation laws, regulations, and claims management processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, management, and external contacts.
Requirements of the Workers’ Compensation Specialist
- Work schedule is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, In office.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Computer/Technology Proficiency – MS Office
- Ethical Practice.
- Occasional travel up to 20% of the time may be required
