Leadpoint Business Services has a Maintenance Helper, Groundskeeper, General Labor Job, available at a recycling center in North Las Vegas, NV. The Facility Cleaner is responsible for supporting the maintenance team by cleaning in and around the production equipment. Working with the support team to identify safety concerns, maintenance opportunities and performing general labor duties in and around the recycling system.
This is a full-time, general labor position doing work that helps the environment and protects the planet. You’ll have the chance to start right away and move up over time.

Schedule: 7:30am to 4pm & 4pm 11:30pm
Hourly pay premium plus benefits

- Responsibilities of the Maintenance Helper, Groundskeeper
- Cleans areas around and under machine belts.
- Communicates with supervisor and/or equipment operators for clarification of maintenance problems.
- Keeping facility grounds free from trash, litter, and debris; and emptying trash receptacles as needed.
- Picking up litter, cardboard and other waste and dispose them properly.
- Removing snow and ice from walkways, exterior stairs, parking lots by either sanding and/or salting icy areas.
- Sweeping, raking, picking up, and disposing of leaves, litter, and other debris from surface surrounding the facilities.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
- Complies with all corporate policies and safety guidelines
Requirements of the Maintenance Helper, Groundskeeper
- Are at least 18 years of age or older
- Attention to Detail
- Able to work assigned schedule
- Ability to follow instruction
- Complete required screening essential to the position
- Ability to perform physical job duties including, and not limited to, bending, kneeling, raking, sweeping, etc.
- Be able to follow Leadpoint Safety Operating practices.
- Comfortability working in varied outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Detail-oriented, self-starter, self-motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to learn and take directions, and to work independently.
