Family First
Junior brings a strong background in operations management and the waste and recycling industry to his role as Onsite Manager. After years of frequent travel for work, he welcomed the opportunity to join Leadpoint and manage a single site, giving him more time at home with his young family.
As the welcoming face of his facility, Junior is often the first person new hires meet. He walks them through the application process, helps them get started, and makes sure they understand the expectations and rewards of the job. On the plant floor, he works side-by-side with his team, shoveling, cleaning, and tackling the same challenges they do. Leading by example is important to him, and he takes pride in showing that hard work and dedication are at the heart of the recycling industry.
“Working at a recycling site isn’t for everyone,” Junior says, “but I make sure people understand it’s a good, stable job. It’s a great industry to be able to provide for themselves and their families.”
Outside of work, Junior enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and spending quality time with his family.
