No Excuses
Irvin’s family immigrated to the United States in 1998. Soccer was a large part of his childhood and continues to be today. When not at work, you can find Irvin on the soccer field. He’s been coaching youth soccer for nine years, inspired by his daughter, whom he first coached. “My purpose in life is to impact youth positively,” he shares. “Soccer played a large role in my upbringing, and I hope to help young players stay on the right path.”
Irvin seeks challenges and growth both professionally and as a coach. Before joining Leadpoint, he refined his leadership skills as a manufacturing supervisor. As a landfill onsite manager, Irvin navigates the unique challenges of coordinating a dispersed team, focusing on understanding and motivating each member.
“No Excuses” isn’t just a motto for Irvin—it’s a way of life. He believes in hard work and perseverance, valuing team members who take initiative and strive for improvement. “Great things come from effort,” he says. “If you are going to do something, just do it.”
Irvin’s goal is to continue growing at Leadpoint. He thrives on being around people who push him to learn and improve, never wanting to be the smartest person in the room.
