You Can Always Fix Your Mistakes
Jose’s story shows how perseverance can lead to great things. Looking back, he says, “I’ve made mistakes. I messed up and had to change. I believe I had to go through those challenges to get to where I am today. My kids are my motivation. I want them to see how important it is to build something and participate in society. I share my story with my team to show them that if I can change, they can too.”
With a background in operations management, Jose moved from managing electronic recycling to leading a team that sorts construction materials for recycling. His hands-on approach and positive attitude have been key in this transition.
As an Onsite Manager, Jose values his personal connections with his team. “I enjoy getting to know the team. In past roles, I didn’t have that chance.” He also likes how no two days are the same. “Every day brings something new, and that keeps things interesting.”
Jose takes pride in being an active team member, not just a manager. “I might have more responsibilities, but that doesn’t make me more important than anyone else,” he says.
Jose hopes to inspire his two children and his team. “Mistakes happen, but you can always fix them and find your way forward.”
