Working in a MRF can be rewarding

Updated CDC Guidance, Quarantine Protocols

Based on the latest from CDC, we have modified our quarantine protocols to:

Close contact / suspected contact with COVID positive – 14 days
People with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms, ranging from mild to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

RTW after Positive COVID Test – 10 Days
“I tested positive for COVID-19 but had no symptoms.”

If you continue to have no symptoms, you can be with others after 10 days have passed since your positive viral test for COVID-19. Most people do not require testing to decide when they can be around others. However, if your healthcare provider recommends testing, they will let you know when you can resume being around others based on your test results.

Depending on your assignment, Leadpoint’s customer may require a doctor’s note before you can return to work.

Symptomatic associates – 10 days + questions
“I think or know I had COVID-19, and I had symptoms.”

You can be around others after:

  • 10 days since symptoms first appeared and
  • 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
  • COVID-19 symptoms have improved (for example, cough, shortness of breath)

In most cases, these modified quarantine protocols will help get our associates back to work sooner.
