Leadpoint Business Services seeks several Facilities Maintenance Technician Helpers to assist with repairs and diagnostics as well as preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment used in our Appleton, WI production facility. These are full time positions with growth potential.

3rd Shift 10:00pm 6:30am

Sunday through Thursday with some Overtime on Fridays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment and machines and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks.

  • Cleans or lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, roller guards or other parts of machinery.

  • Oils chains, laces conveyor belts, changes separator screen discs and replaces chains and sprockets.

  • Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

  • Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment and supplies for other workers.

  • Prepare workstations for use by maintenance staff.

  • Transfer tools, parts, equipment and supplies to and from workstation or other areas.

  • Assists with preventive maintenance work orders.

  • Complies with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while working.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician Helper, you will assist our experienced maintenance technicians with their work, including gathering and handing tools, changing fixtures, working with conveyor belts, preparing workspaces, and whatever else is needed. You will also be taught:

  • The operation and light maintenance of heavy equipment (front end loaders, skid steers, forklifts etc.).

  • How to maintain cleanliness around and under machine belts.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required. You will be expected to:

  • Communicate with your supervisor and/or the equipment operators for clarification of any maintenance problems.

  • Follow instructions in a detailed manner while following all safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Consent to a drug screen. This is a drug-free workplace.

  • Consent to a background check. Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company.

  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
